LED Enquiry- Help!

Hey Guys!

So I'm taking on the project of building my own LED DJ Structure and I need some advice on the kit I'll need!

In another video, it looks as though the LED's are around 10-12mm in size, and are definitely not part of any tape strip or anything like that.

From speaking to various suppliers, it looks as though I need an LED module of some sort, but I don't really understand the brightness and power requirements and really need some help!

I'd be extremely greatful for any advice you may have!

Most of those are in a drape form, that is a sheet with lots of LED's wired between the sheets, doesn't really matter what size LED you use but most of them use low profile SMD style ones. Usually are DMX compatible so hooked up to your computer via a USB to DMX convertor.

You would be better off buying one of those rather than trying to make it yourself but if you really want to make your own, check out LightShowPi
