red led

What is the brightest red led currently avalible? By brightest i dont mean the most lumens per watt but the highest rated in watts. I have searched around on here and all the posts are dated back to 2012. i am looking for just the modual as i would like to build my own light but if you know of a good p60 pill with a bright led it might work. . From what i have found it looks to be the cree xp-e2 led but i am hoping there is something brighter than that because it is only a 3 watt modual. If i had one 3.7 volt 18640 and a 1 amp driver this would be 3.7 watts which is pushing its max right? I need it to be red because i am using it for hunting coyotes at night.

The luminus SST-90 is available as a red Version (SSR-90). This is the brightest red LED available. Nailbender builds Dropins with this LED.
