Yes, absolutely! With the L30 tube on it, that L16vn90 would be the best of everything!

The Olight Warrior X Pro driver is pushing that XHP35 pretty hard. Would an XHP50.2 fit inside? I don't use a lot of throw, I do use some throw with wide spill. This light being so darn near perfect, could it take the the change?

My Acebeam L30 body does work with the Samsung 21700 40T battery on the L16vn90. I did have to hone out the L30 body to accept the Samsung 21700 40T battery, but the L16vn90 is a little brighter.

Yeah, I'll bet it's brighter! What did you hone it out with?

Nice! You found a host to work with the DeLens. Any chance you measured the beam, before and after or do you have other tests in mind? I so curious to know how the DeLens is effecting things.

Also, that's a beautiful light! It's just beyond my light budget at the moment.

You can now pick between VNX2 or NArsil. Both will be able to hold turbo longer than Audril. I like Narsil because its simple.

I like Narsil too. The more that I play around with Auduril, the more I'm convinced that I have no need for something with that many features. Driver VN's are different because you can lock in a simple interface and it will stay that way. Auduril 'skills' are perishable if you're not using them with regularity.

Vinh, I also see that the Convoy 4x18Avn is available with Narsil. Is Narsil something that you'll be offering in a number of different lights or is there something unique about the V6 and the Convoy?

You can now pick Narsil or VNX2. I picked Narsil over Audril because its simple and can handle heat longer. I can flash different program UI now.

Would this also be an option for the MT07vn? I might send mine in for a Narsil flash if so.

Problem with Narsil is that it lacks active temperature regulation

And thats the reason why its great for some high performance lights. Audirl step down way too fast in most lights way before light gets too hot to hold no matter how you set it or try to fool its sensor.

ATR steps down and up wrt temp. Narsil only steps down wrt temp. My 18k lumen MT09RTA steps down to about 200 lumens and dont know how to climb back up on its own.

Is the temperature of your MT09RTA getting so high that it's correctly stepping down to 200L or is Narsil overreacting and stepping down to 200L, even though the light isn't yet hot?

Perhaps there's an updated Narsil flash or maybe the temperature circuit on the MT09RTA is positioned in an area of the light that which causes to react far too aggressively. Have you run this by the guys at the Modding Thread?

Vinh, what temperature testing have you run on some of these Narsil driven V54 lights and have you had any experiences yet with them stepping down too quickly? I'm guessing not, considering how you want your lights to perform, but since it was brought up, I wanted to ask.

I'm probably an outlier but I don't want any auto temp regulation on my lights at all (unless they're infinitely adjustable) for two reasons. First, ATR's often miss the ideal compensation parameters. All too often, manufacturers just don't do enough R&D and we end up with ATR's that are intentionally set too conservatively in order to cover the unknowns OR we end up having to add custom heat sinks in order to compensate for poorly placed or overly sensitive chipsets. The stock MT07 for example, should have never gone into production. The problem at max ramp was discovered as soon as they got into user's hands and as far as I know, nothing was ever fixed. There are other well known lights with similar thermal issues.

The second reason is that no one uses my hobby lights without supervision. There are other "safe" lights that family have access to but my performance lights are off limits and/or locked in a safe. All of my lights with adjustable ATR are set to the least conservative values but I understand those values can be inconsistent from light to light.
