Hi all,not a review but for those struggling for a holster or carry for the larger light.I know some supbeams come with holsters;) but the tk61 does not:(

So on the search i found a tactical molle zipper bag,£8 delivered so i guess around the $13 mark.......

Quality wise its fine,i mean certainly up to the job,but not something you would rely on in the battle field if makes sense, other than that i can recommend it for the mentioned lights.

Details

  • Main Bottle Pocket Size : 26cm (Height 10") x 10.5cm (Diameter 4.1")

    Front Pocket Size : 15cm (Height 5.9") x 10.5cm (Width 4.1") x 5cm (Depth 2.0")
  • Material: High density Nylon
  • Molle Design, easily connect to molle vest, belt and bag
  • With 2 Sling swivels, also can carry it as small bag
  • Velcro panel on the top
  • With 2 pouches, the main pouch can put big sport water bottle, the second pouch can put some small things
  • One metal grommet drainage holes on bottom of bag

Pics time or not true:)
Comes in a variety of flavours ,i choose ACU camo specifically because i just did:)

Side pouch eats easily 4x 18650 in cases, would eat 8

Next to the tk61vn for a size comparison/idea

yum yum where has the tk61vn gone

Fits pretty much perfect tbh, there is a little more room in the actual lid

zipped up full of fenix

tk75vn for those looking for a zipper style bag

As you can see it sits further down simply because its smaller so suited for either or similar larger lights.

metal clasp which is sufficient

Optional handle/strap with plastic clips, quite stiff to fit,not sure on long term durability but short term impressions are sufficient.

On back of bag with press stud fittings

So from me its a:thumbsup:

I cant put links, but if interested a certain auction site and No 130905773491 :)

Whilst i am here i will mention the well bellow par optional carry/holster for the tk61 and tk75......

It is from a certain HK company and will be taking matter further but not on here, these are my impressions....

I did state at start not to post of no head protection as for me its pointless having the head out in the open when carrying,it will end up scratched/damaged so not what i want and for £10............or $16 its a complete rip off

Why?

I could have bought the ****** fire light, full holster for less without the flap being cut off........even that is not done well

With tk75 in it.......

Has a loop for belt carry.......sure its really comfy with the large head digging in side:shakehead,so imho that is an AVOID!!!!

So from me its a BIG:thumbsdow

Thanks for reading, hope of some help to others

Regards ven:thumbsup:

Nice Ven!

It looks like a good holster for 'hopefully soon to arrive' TK61.

Now to find a slightly smaller version for the TK75.

Did you buy this in the UK or did you import it?

I was very disappointed the TK61 didn't come with some kind of case. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi there imported the zipper bag, within 2 weeks delivery so good there too,i put code in for ebay to help, several colour choices available to suit,do a plain black also which i was tempted with.

Its fine for the tk75 too, there is around 1" difference in length between the 2,however the head is a little larger on the tk61,imo its good for both:twothumbs

Hi jon, thanks, yes agree,it offers protection and the extra pocket will fit many cells too or even smaller lights. It would be useful for example carrying several single 18650 lights and maybe a few 16340 or AA/AAA lights in the pouch etc.Just some protection between lights, maybe thin foam etc to stop any movement inside. The smaller pocket does have elastic supports inside which helps secure items.

I had a chat with subwoofer,he suggested molle type and i could not for the life of me find a post on here that suggested molle(maybe teej or kj). There are also more expensive specialised equipment more for outdoor field work, but for me spending $50+ would be a waste for the use i need.

Hi Fat Boy,me too, very nicely presented but other than that its ok for just storing the light.I expected at 1st something similar to the tk75 case, just a little larger so no big ask.Not sure why Fenix chose this way tbh,but i think its a wrong choice myself.

Welcome, hope of some use,it is certainly better than what fenix would have done if in a case like other tk lights;)

I really think its good value, especially as the pics under it for that ridiculous holder cost me $15 ..........yes $15 or £9 of my money.Needless to say i have been refunded. They were professional as i expected, and have updated their details on that specific item upon my request to help others decide with more facts. So a good end there!!

Well i have ordered another for my tk75vn,this time chose digital woodland...........again no specific reason:twothumbs

The tk61vn box is now stored away and the light now lives in the zipper bag,the carry strap for the tk61vn is in the side pocket.I will still be able to store 18650 cells in there too without issue.

These are the bee's knees.
I got two black ones and am in love.
Even holds a btu shockervn like a glove. Backup cells, extension for the tk's, small lights.

A tk61vn and a mm15vn in the front pocket, and the outside is completely modular for water bottle, knife etc . How perfect is that.
