just got an order and got 14500 batteries instead of 18650. Now what? A new light?

Help me out. I have 2keepower 14500 batteries and no light to go with them. Anyone want to trade or recommend a edc in 14500. I was trying to stay away from lensers but I think that is my only option.

Am on the lookout for a 14500 Li-ion (or 2? ) to put in my S15 Baton Ti. Reviews say Keeppower is one of the better brands there. Shipping costs might be an issue though. What exact type/model are they, and in which country are you located?

P.S. if you can't get rid of them easily, I'd just return them to sender as "not what was ordered". Seller should reimburse those shipping costs, imho (since his/her mistake).

P.S.2: Yes, another light is always an option. Silly question on here...

The d25a ti too,check that out:naughty:
Problem with that is it does 14500 in direct drive which completely messes with the mode spacing. The ZL plays nicer with 14500 if I'm not mistaken.

There's also the Quark QPA or QTA. With a 14500, they have the output of their 2AA counterparts and are highly pocketable, especially with the deep carry clip.

I have (had) all the above mentioned lights - low voltage Quark XML gets my top vote.

Yup, great lights. As an alternative, get the 2xAA QP2A-X light, plus an additional 1xAA body tube. That way, you can run it either on 2xAA or a single 14500, for the same max brightness. I prefer the XML lights to the XPG lights.

They fixed that.

As long as you get the 2013 edition of the D25a Ti all modes work fine on 14500. I have both that version and the earlier version.

I have a few 2012s and a 2014 N219 - with the '14 all the modes shift up on 14500, which the same as what I've read about the '13s. It's better than the '12s, which become 2-mode direct drivers, but I like retaining my low lows at spec.

edit: light also needs an L91 for moonlight at spec.
