Maglite Polishing?

Im seeing polished tail caps on custom maglites. I was curious how one would go about doing this with a black maglite. I dont see anywhere where you can order a singular stainless tail cap. Any info would be appreciated

You could always DIY. I have a mini mag that was red (now almost completely polished). I hand sanded it using 160 grit -> 320 -> 600 -> 1000. 1000 was the highest I could get locally. For a true polish you should continue with 2000 and greater and perhaps a buffer and aluminum polishing compound.

Googlize the terms "maglite cap" and you can find several glass breaking and other tail caps for Maglite flashlights.
