6 Trits in a D10 piston?

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit 6 tritium vial in an old style D10 piston? I dont know if there is enough metal to fit them or not. Please let me know if anyone has tried it and succeeded/failed. I only have one piston for this particular light so I don't want to mess it up. I would love to have something similar to the following picture if possible.
