Need driver idea for P7 with approximately 6V input

I am upgrading a Maglite rechargeable to a SSC P7 c-bin. I am looking for a single mode driver that I can use with the factory rechargeable battery pack. Pack is rated as 6v, but I'm sure when fully charged it will be higher.
Any thought would be welcomed.
