i recently aquired a older aluminum surefire 8a rechargeable light is there any one that makes a dropin the bulb is considerly bigger then a p60

open head and widen inside hole that few mm, which are needed to have the back of the insert pass through,
bend outside spring of dropin tighter, so it fits onto the "-" part on the battery

.
but before, rethink the whole mod, as an 18650 light packs almost the same power in a much smaller package
(in case of an original SF-battery, the 18650 packs more power ...)
