Hi guys,

Thinking to get a FENIX PD35 from eBay but I am not sure if there are actually fake ones for this model. I googled it up but nothing came up. Thought I'd double check first before buying... cheers.

Not that I know of, but most eBay-sellers aren't official dealer. So when the light starts to act-up, you could get a warranty issue.

There seems to be a steady supply of grey-market Fenix housing components out there used by fleabay, DX, et al discount retailers. Buyer beware.

Are there Fake Fenix PD35 or Nitecore P12?

Hi guys,
Thinking to buy either one of these 2 from eBay but I'm a bit wary with buying from eBay. Are these 2 faked already? Cheers.

We don't have authorised Fenix or Nitecore here in Aussie. Daimn I just posted the same thread thinking why my initial post didn't show up... lol

If the price is too good to be true, it probably is fake. There is only slow low someone can go unless it is used and they are just trying to get rid of it. Hell, buy it from Amazon, they have low price matching.

I really don't understand why Ebay seems to get such a bad name around here I have bought at least 100 things from Ebay including around 40 flashlights, I always buy from a seller with good positive feedback and I have never had one single problem, Ebay is great I really don't understand people here who try to give Ebay a bad name.

For me Ebay is 100% fine never had a problem with buying from there.

The prices on eBay range from AUD$89 to AUD$58 bucks. I am very tempted to buy it for $58 but you know when they say if it's too good to be true...
But then again I'd feel stupid if I choose the $89 when I know right in front of me there's one cheaper...

I also have never had a problem but there are certain things i will not buy for instance 1)Batteries 2)Led lights(branded)3)Old toys. They have had some real bad publicity on other forums and i have found i can buy safer elsewhere.I am afraid the Ebay revolution imo has had its day. They are even pushing there other site more these days as well Gumtree.
