Waterproof Scorpion ?

Water resistant. The rubber sleeve on the housing has an o-ring type lip at the end. That is what I dislike about the scorpion. You would have to replace the entire sleeve if/when the o-ring gets chewed up.

I was dumped into a hot spring with my Scorpion in a pocket. It didn't take any water. After that, I submerged it the water again and again, with the same result.

Conclusion: MINE takes water pressure up to about 1M deep.

A closer look reveals followings: slightly flanged rubber tip, a small step on the aluminum body 3mm behind the thread, bezeled/funneled head interior.
So, I'd say Scorpion (or at least mine) is water proof w/ no guarantee, IF the head is tightly screwed in. When the head is loose, it can take water just like as Titanic did.
