anyone disassembled or modded one of these???

I got this a while back from the discovery store, not bad for what it is. 3xAAA and 1 Nachia. the front lens assy slides forward to go from spot to flood. This thing just screams mod me. There is enough standoff on the LED board to put in a 1W star. (ground down). I got the LED board out (2xscrews) but is seems the unit is o-ringed. Has anyone taken one of these apart, and if so HOW. I cant find and more screws or clip access. Help please...
