*FOUND* WTB: Mag Charger Host with Something Cool and Custom About It

*FOUND*

I am looking for a Maglite Mag Charger with something cool and custom about it.

I need (and want) only the host itself, no other accessories.

Maybe you anodized it a different color. Maybe it has some sort of neat grippy wrap or tape.

Maybe you cut some sort of cool design into it.

Please email me (not PM) with what you have.

:)

Thanks, guys!

How about modifying the one I have?

I would like a new switch installed, preferably something aftermarket and highly reliable,
forward clicky, press for momentary and click for on.

Some bright orange reflective tape on top would be awesome as well.

Does the switch on it work like that already ?

Pretty sure the normal maglite switch does if I'm understanding your description correctly. Not sure about the charger switch.
If so, you could probably cram a FET in there to upgrade it like I've been doing to me m*g D's.

Yes, the switch is like that.

However, it isn't crisp and clean. I would like a new one.

I don't need something fancy (or want something expensive).

It will only carry an amp or 1500mA.

If you have experience doing custom switch work on Mag Chargers, please send me an email at the address in my signature.

:)

Thank you!

Nah, I've never worked on a mag charger, I jsut know it's close enough to the maglite, specifically the C, that I could pack a FET into there if you needed a high current mod.

That's all I have to offer, Good luck.

—does anyone even have a new/heavy duty switch they could swap in?

The switch on mine is weak and old.

Before I send this out for modding/LED conversion, I would love a new switch inside.
