As some of you probably know from this thread:

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?386070-Where-does-Armytek-ship-from

Im not happy with armytek as a company, however im going to put that aside and tell you guys what i think of the light.

I bought it to replace my 10 year old Peak LED McKinley, because i wanted to update my EDC light to something from this decade :)

Peak still works fine, just time to retire from EDC duty.

Size is very similar in size to the McKinley and i intend to keychain carry it like i did with the McKinley, its a little longer and a little thicker but its very small amount. Here is pics of light size, and beamshots in order of C1 on high, C1 on low, McKinley

All those shots were with fresh streamlight CR123's which tested 3.18V

This light is very durable, i have thrown it around the room a bit bounced it off a few walls and kicked it around on the floor, nothing it wont see as my EDC light anyways lol. The HA shows no signs of wear/scratches yet. Seems well built for a made in china light.

Initial build quality is perfect, no burrs on the threads, threads greased well, o rings well lubricated, lens perfect no scratches, tailcap is solid and take more pressure to activate than most which i like because i intend to pocket carry it on my keychain. Battery held in place by very strong spring, doesnt rattle at all. I cant find any issues with the quality of the finished product. It also came with spare o rings and tailcap rubber pad and a belt pouch.

Run time is listed at one hour on high, this is false depending on how you measure i guess, IMHO when you get below 50% output that should end the test, i mean really who cares if the light is still running if its to dim to be used effectively.

this is eyeball monitoring only, i dont have any light sensing devices, Anyways it must be regulated because the output on high was consistent 100% brightness for 35 min then it fell of a cliff and within next 5 min dropped below 50% initial brightness, continued to run till 1 hour 10 min till was so dim i could not tell if it was on anymore.

It is very well waterproofed, i had it in this glass of water on high power:

For the length of time to kill one battery, and when it was came out no water had penetrated the o ring, threads and thread grease was still fine, no water contamination. The threads on this thing are very smooth, did not expect this level of quality from china light.

Overall im happy with its performance, time will tell now that its my EDC just how long it will last.

If anyone has any questions ask away.
