Any universal red filters for AA lights??.

Is there any red filters that are universal that could fit different AA lights?


i want something for when I don't want to disturb other people.

Yup, filters are bad; allowing only one frequency of photons through means you're wasting all the battery power going to generating the other frequencies. The best do-not-disturb light is one with a moonlight mode, meaning less than one lumen - this allows you to see everything in full color and use only the tiny amount of power needed to emit the tiny amount of light.

there is no agreed upon sizes for AA lights but the Olight M20 cap will fit quite a few of them,from about 22mm up to 25mm. Comes in a pack with green and blue as well.

I keep a FourSevens Atom A0 with a red LED on my keychain partially for this reason. The low mode is ideal for checking on sleeping children without waking them up.
