Nitecore MT1C question

I just purchased this light for general carry and want it to stay on strobe all the time. I can get it to come on that way once but then it reverts to regular mode. Am I doing something wrong? First post. Thanks.

You might have a defective light....I have a couple of the mt series and they will all start in strobe if I leave them in that mode.

even a perfectly working MT1C is the wrong flashlight for that job. too easy to change modes. too easy to forget to memorize at strobe.

get a quark w/ the Tactical UI. or a klarus XT series

Thanks. I'm really not happy with the light. It is bright and handy though. I'll hang onto it for that. I want a pocket sized light that will stay on strobe unless I change it.
