Anyone have any experience with the Code 4 flashlight (not the Jr)? It was your basic 2 cell aluminum body with the then unique feature of a red lens that would slide over the bulb to help preserve night vision. It's almost an antique, depending on your definition. I bought when I first started flying as aircrew (Flight Engineer) in about 1988. I want to put an LED bulb to use again, but there's some kind of problem, I think with the contacts in the head.
