need suggestion for a container / case for my filter.....

I like to take a filter with me during my night hikes (34mm nitecore ) and I tend to beat them up pretty bad while traversing some of the more difficult terrain. Does anybody have a good idea with what I could use to keep them from getting beat up and smashed flat ??

I need a idea for a type of container i can stick in my pocket....

Is it thin enough to fit into one of the threaded containers made for camera filters?

How about something like these:

I have a couple a they seem pretty robust, probably not waterproof but definitely weatherproof.
