Just a quick question...

Does anyone know the best method for making the FM27 beamcover for the SF M6 easier to open? Seems like the clip that snaps the lid shut is just a tad bit tight under tension when in the closed position. Come to think of it... my FM37 beamcover is tight like that as well.

Other than breaking it in, I was considering putting a light buff to the edge of the plastic catch with a Dremel tool. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Any other thoughts?

I just push the lever on my beamcover up by sticking the tip of my finger between the catch lever and the body of the cover and pushing it up from underneath.

I can almost never get it to pop open by pressing down on the textured button side of the catch like Surefire advertises. I thought about filing down the catch when I first got it, but I'd rather have it a little difficult to open than open on its own. Might work though. Be sure to check often as you won;t be able to add any material back on.
