For the last months i was working on a custom 100w 8500Lm led light.
It is built from an old atx psu case and a cpu heatsink.
The light runs off a 5s 5Ah lipo for around 1h on max power.
Its throw can be compared to the Thrunite TN12, but it has a little more flood to it :naughty:
It also has complete pwm control with a potentiometer using an arduino.
The driver is a 600W constant current boost converter.
The cooling contains two fans and the large heatsink.
Here is it in action and in comparison to the Thrunite TN12 2014 and a Maglite 3D LED:
See a more detailed build log here: http://hackaday.io/project/1789
The total cost was around 50$ without battery pack. The lipo was around 35$ extra.
