So I have a bunch of dollar store incandescent flashlights and since they're so cheap, I was looking to play around with making them brighter. I already purchased a led light bulb and switched it out but is there anything else I can do?

Not really. Any more and you are in the bottom price range of the good led lights like the Streamlight Microstream and ProTac EMS. Both of these are warranted, regulated for constant output until the battery is dead, dead, dead, and built like brick outhouses. Also a lot brighter than an led replacement for a cheap incan bulb. There are lots of others of similar capability in the $20 to $35 USD price range, just browse the 'Recommend Me a Light' and the 'Budget Lights' forums and prepare to be educated.
