To those that have experience with this light, how soon before it cycles down to the next level due to heat? Also, how soon before it is too hot to touch without the handle?

According to selfbuilt (click link below) 6 minutes with cooling and approximately 3 minutes without. That is a complaint i have with newer high output lights. Yes they can belt out in insane amount of lumens but only for a few minutes before output is reduced. Many times output is below 50% after thermal protection kicks in. So your 5300 lumen light is really only an 1850 lumen light. Also many burst modes are direct driven so each time you use it output is reduced as the cells are depleted.

According to Selfbuilt's review, a few minutes till it drops down from Turbo.

It would help to hold the light directly in your hand,
as the blood in your circulatory system
will wick away the heat from the light.

If the light is just too hot to hold,
then it should no longer be put in Turbo.

Putting 2 x MT-G2 emitters in this teeny tiny light was ridiculous, and incredible.

Selfbuilt tested a custom order MM15vn that is quite a bit brighter than the factory stock model.
