Dear friends:
I bought a D40 for my brother's birthday and for my surprise I found that this mini giant was brighter than my two EAs.
I recommend this little flashlight which used just 4AA.
I used 4 eneloop NimH batteries.
(Sorry if this is an old finding)

Yes.

The Eagletac GX25A3 is estimated to be around 910 lumens.

The new Nitecore EA41 is estimated to be around 900 lumens.

The Sunwayman D40A is estimated to be around 940 lumens.

However, it is also the biggest of the bunch.

Thanks!
Excellent chart.
It looks that the EA8 is the leading thrower of the bunch...

The D40A is one of my favorite lights. Most of mine were purchased through Vinh http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...0Avn-Compact-AA-Lumen-Monster-4-4A-1480-Lumen as his price is a steal for a modified light. I have a couple of de-domed versions that easily out throw my stock TK41.
