Very nice matching of the two batteries and capacity is nearly independent of load.

Conclusion

This is a very good cell for a standard 2600mAh cell.
Remember that the cell is unprotected this means it will have higher voltage at "high" load than protected batteries.

Notes and links

The batteries was supplied by Akkuteile.de for review.

How is the test done and how to read the charts
How is a protected LiIon battery constructed
More about button top and flat top batteries
Compare to 18650 and other batteries

Thanks for this review HKJ. Actually, I've been secretly waiting for it since I pulled two of these from a 5200mAh NewTrent mobile battery pack. I typically use them in my Zebralights. Mine say ICR18650-26FU...not sure what that's about.

The low price almost makes you want to skip higher capacity cells!

This is true of all unprotected cells, and not just this specific model, correct?

Even though I probably don't need the current handling abilities, I need to get some Samsung cells, to keep the others happy.

Once again, thanks and these look reasonably true to their labeling and consistent up to 5A, at least.

It must be slightly different from this cell.
I wonder how much difference there is to the ICR18650-26H cell (I will answer that soon).
