very nice. Is it a significant difference from your old fenix pd35? Also was it the new 2014 pd35 at 960 lumens?

Yes ! New pd 2014... I notice a difference in the color as the pics show. Its a nice improvement..the throw is bad azzzz

And you opted for the Engraved! Very nice. Helps keep it where you can tell them apart on the go. I love my vn rigs. ALL of them. You choose a great light to do it with. If you don't have a headlight, look at one of the Nitecores vn does. I can't say enough about the last one I got. Glad you like it. Enjoy your new modded light!

Is the new one a warmer hue? I prefer the yellow-ish over the blue/white. That would make a HUGE difference for my purchase decision. Actually, moreso than the lumens. Also, will the 2014 version tail-stand? I know the other won't so just wondering if they upgraded that.

Congrats! Really wish I would have gotten engraving on all of mine..
Very cool! Been debating whether to send mine in and get a neutral white LED installed. Ever since discovering neutral white tinted lights, I can't bring myself to use a cool white light like my stock PD35 anymore lol.
