As per title
This has been a shelf queen.
I bought the complete light, used, no dropin, but I could see no signs of use.
Mentioned when advertised that there were some light machining marks, I believe that was just a cautious warning that these lights do typically show some machining marks where Al lights do not.
I fitted a new Nailbender Triple Nichia dropin. Optics have been drilled and have 3 green trits.
I can't be certain on the optics. I had the frosted optics but changed to clear. (Which specific clear I am not sure)
On healthy IMR / ICR cell I measure around 4.1Amps at the tail. 3 level driver.
I have a brass spacer (insulated on sides) that sits in front of the cell,
otherwise light does not function. With spacer light functions with non protected Samsung ICR cell or AW 2900mAh protected cell.
The Dropin is basically a permanent install.
It is a solid copper slug, was very tight fit, required a lot of force to get it into the light. So it has excellent thermal transfer being such a tight fit, but doubtfull you could remove without damaging the driver.
I reserve the right to check actual shipping costs. If your location is unusually high shipping cost I may need to increase cost.
