If you are having problems finding a wrist strap, try looking for a wrist lanyard. There are multitudes of threads about making your own, and I know that there are several offering wrist lanyards for sale. If you don't mind a manufacturer's name on it, Lumens Factory has one on their webpage under accessories. I am sure many other makers do the same.
