Hi,

I'm having trouble coming to a conclusion on what wavelength I want for the LEDs.

I'm basically creating an environment for the Kinect camera, I don't want any interference.

The wavelength Kinect produces is about 850 to 950nm.

Is there a particular wavelength I should go for which would give no interference?
Would it be the furthest away from infrared within in the visible light spectrum?

Regards,
Jack.

Just remove sources of reflected or direct sunlight and avoid incandescent bulbs, especially ones that are in the sensor's line of sight. LED and CFL sources don't generate any deep red/ IR point sources that might confuse the sensor, which from what I've been lead to believe shouldn't be that prone to interference anyways.
