I recently got a SureFire G2z and was wondering.
On one side of the body, is the SureFire logo - it is raised so that it is part of the flashlight body.

On the other side of the body, there is an oval. It appears that there was either a sticker there or that is where the laser printing was supposed to be. Anyone know?

Any photos showing both sides of the G2z so I know what (if anything) is supposed to be there?

Also, will the Garrity "clickie" mod work on the G2z?

There is an oval on my G2z and I never realised until you mentioned it.

To use the clickie mod on the G2z, you'll need a G2 tailcap, you have to screw the tailcap almost all the way down that you wouldn't be able to fit the lanyard ring.

I suggest that you keep the G2z as it is, it has a LOTC anyway.

LOTC is ok, I just really like clickie ones!

Maybe I'll look around for an extra G2 tailcap...

I always assumed it was there due to the way the body was formed (injection moulded?) In order to create the "SureFire" logo I figured it was somehow forced leaving the "oval" which is more of a "race track" really...

I always assumed the empty oval is just a blank for where a custom logo could be placed.

well, that's what I was wondering too. It's too bad it doesn't say "SureFire G2z" or something else like their other lights do...

BTW, thanks for the pict, Al! Care to save some time and just email me ALL your SF picts? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm working on a database for PK-E. It's rather complicated to make it simple.

Sorry, I can't show you all my SureFire photos. I'd wake up dead or worse.
