For gifts and keepers I had an assortment of 5 AA's.

I ran all 5 for 24hrs continuous. 3 of them appeared (emphasis added) as bright at 12hrs as they did at 2 hours.

At 24 hours, they all lit up a closet and its contents from 10'.

I took the brightest 3 and kept them running...2 of them lasted about 72 HOURS, the remaining one could illuminate my watch.

Just so you know, after 50 hours, they could all light up the closet contents with night adjusted eyes. I could read a book and navigate through dark rooms (with a multitude of randomly dropped and unexpected-location xmas gifts).

Good to know if you are really in a SHTF situation.

These lights continue to amaze me...they are the cockroaches of the flashlight world, as I know it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif...darn near indestructible....and oodles of function.

I can't wait til March Baby!

OK. Till the BATTERIES died. I thought you actually managed to kill the Arc AA :p

I run my Arcs on batteries that will no longer power a discman, mp3 player, remote, etc. and they still squeeze alot of light out of otherwise daad batteries. Awesome little lights.

Best regards,
Randy
