Ever Broken a Zebralight SC600 MKII?

I have a friend with a broken SC600 on his nightstand. I don't know what's wrong, he says it just stopped working.
He hasn't tried to send it back in. I don't know if it might be out of warranty. I think he's just going to move on. He has a lot of money, and doesn't bother himself with returning any small consumer items like that for repair. He just considers them disposable items.

Even if its out of warranty, contact CS and for $15 they will fix it. They fixed my old H600 XML that mysteriously stopped working one day.

Nope. Not even after repeated drops.
I broke my SC600w. I used it for work and dropped it from time to time. I noticed the glass was cracked one day and then about three days later it quit working. It was out of warranty and it happened before ZL offered to repair them for a fee. I threw it away. :sigh:
