Hi folks, I received this battery from Amazon. It came with my new BC1000 charger. It appears to be leaking, but I thought I'd check with you all before recycling it.

I think it needs to go (better safe than sorry). What do you think?

Was it shipped like that? Does the wrapper feel mushy or wet at all? Try charging all the AA batteries at 200mAh (which is default) check the voltage of all the batteries, they should be similar across but you'll have to be at home monitoring this. IMO these batteries are not well designed and it might be leaking so if you prefer just recycle them and get some Eneloops instead, La Crosse batteries get really hot when charged higher than 500mAh.

Yes, that's how it arrived brand new. The wrapper doesn't feel mushy or wet. I did some research and these batteries are junk. I'm not going to risk it, I'll recycle it.

Thanks!
