We took a TM26 and TK75 for a walk in the snow tonight. What great fun and beautiful it was, especially with strobe.

I found a real practical use, Mosquito's.
For some weird reason my strobe (eagletac D25LC2) just stops them in place, I can slowly push down my finger on them and squish them, they don't even try to fly away!

Yeah, strobes also force those giant buzz bomb house flies, moths, etc. to land where they're easy to squish. I haven't been as successful with landing Mosquitos though - they're so hard to see as it is, the strobe makes me lose track of them. Also nailing most bugs while on the ground with max from close distance usually blinds enough to easily squish them. The less ambient light around, the better these tactics work.

I use mine once a year. Halloween! I have them all over my yard & house. The Trick or Treaters get a kick out them. I haven't done the TK75, may be a bit over kill. :)
