I have an SC52w that I have had for a little over a year now. It is still in GREAT condition and works perfectly. The only real downfall is that the tint looks pretty crappy compared to my SC62w (which is probably about as perfect as you can get). I currently use it as a backup EDC, but have been thinking of gifting it to a friend who is having her birthday soon. I thinking about giving it to her and getting a new SC52w L2. Is the SC52w L2 a better light than the old SC52w? I know that it now has the larger head of the SC62 lights for better cooling, but is the tint generally better (like my SC62w)? And although the lumen rating is the same, is the output of the new light more in line with the lumen rating than the old one (which was known to be overrated)?
