Thank you for the pictures! This is a great comparison. I just bought the Nitecore EA41 for a relative, and I'm really impressed with it.

I also like the use of two buttons on the Nitecore as well as having a little more throw. However, I am also a huge Fenix fan, so it was a tough call.

Thanks for the review and great pics/gifs.

The Fenix E41 certainly has more flood and even appears brighter[only 40lumens more than N'Core EA41]. It would be my choice As far as output and distribution of light!

However, I am not a fan of AA LIGHTS. I sold my EA4 last summer! That light seemed to have a significant parasitic drain!

I may be wrong but I think most[4 X AA Lights] of them use NIMH or Alkaline,,,,,few if any take L.ion 14500's?
