Much has been written in past years about the relatively common Surefire HA-NAT anodizing mismatches.

Your humble servant offers one solution for this nagging problem:

Buy lots of L1's and L2's, get a couple of spare tailcaps via the CPF/MP, and do some swapping. :D

Only two of the six lights above are wearing their original tailcap. I am pleased with the results.

Still 'carrying the torch' for the L1/L2 series. :candle:

Not an option for me, they are already rare in my country.
I have a single L1 6th Gen and it shows 4 colors: none of the pieces match. It's my favorite among all my lights though. :)

Thanks for the feedback, folks. I do confess to being somewhat CDO. ;)

For a comparison, here is a pic that DHart posted in my old L1 thread, another of those 'rainbow' L1's, lol. :)
A tribute to Kestrel's longstanding appreciation for the L1...

I guess there are the folks who don't care (the most sensible IMO), the ones who do care (and just complain via the forums), and those that just sleep better once they've 'corrected' their HA SF's. :D

I also swapped parts to make my HA NAT Surefires match, and my Malkoffs also.

Nice Ls, Kestrel.
