I am planning to get Sunwayman M60C 3x Cree XM-L2 as I really like size, design etc. Is it possible to replace these XM-L2 LEDs with MT-G2 P0. What about driver compatibility, LED fit, any other potential problems? Please keep in mind, I am totally new to these flashlights :)

Thanks for any and all assistance!

The XM-L is a 3V LED. The MT-G2 is a 6V (or 12V) emitter. Depending on how the XM-L's are wired and how the driver is set up, it'll either not light up / Work / burn out the MT-G2.

You'd need to replace the reflector, and finding one to fit the relatively huge MT-G2 might be a challenge.

I'd look at the Acebeam K40M - it's roughly the same size/shape/interface and comes with a MT-G2 conveniently pre-installed ;)

Sadly, I really like M60C design. Anyway, I will take your advice and will go with K40M instead.

Thanks for help
