TN36vn & TN36Mvn Observation & Details:

- TN36Mvn flood like nothing else! Beam shots does not do this light justice.- TN36vn is the brightest pop can light
- TN36vn is probably the brightest light by size volume
- TN36vn probably has the highest lumen per dollar value of everything I make
- Build quality is excellent!
- High drain unprotected required for Turbo mode
- Beam has a very faint donut hole on a white wall
- Moonlight is Ultra Low
- Turbo does get hot after ~3-4 minutes, Short burst only!

TM06vn VS MM15vn VS TN36vn VS TN36Mvn VS 6XLvn

Homemade!!!!!

TN36vn Dark

MKR VS XHP

I like the XHP more due to tint, donut hole practically gone, more flood and more lumen

I like the MKR for cheaper price, better throw

I would recommend the TN30vn with XML2s if you like throw and pick TN36vn XHP for ultimate flood and lumen if you can afford the price difference. Otherwise the MKRs are still excellent for the price.

Re: TN36vn Triple MK-R

I just emailed Illumns to see if they are getting this light! It may be a flooder that I am interested in after seeing the beam shots/gifs. It seems like it has the potential to completely illuminate 100 yards ahead?

Just to make sure I understand - is option 4 for a total of 12 LEDs? If so, I presume this would be a very floody light (which is my preference)?

Very interested, but I doubt I would be able to get both this one and the MM18vn, and I suspect the mm18 will be the more interesting all purpose light.

Hmmmm very interested!
Too bad that I just got an MM15vn lol.
3 MTG2's dedomed for throw would be kinda cool though :)

Re: TN36vn Triple MK-R

I beg to differ

Which part? No matter what, this light is going to be a flood monster... at best ~40-50kcd on turbo. Which is pretty nice, but with that much light will be similar to the mm15vn in terms of how long you can run it. I'm betting you can get ~6000 lumens from the mm18vn though, and that light will produce quite a bit more throw with a dedome. So the combination of both lots of flood, and throw = better all purpose light.

If it's about the first part... we'll see where I'm at in 2-3 months :p

I will have to see the fianl version but for now I just liek the MM15vn more. I guess the large size compared to the MM15vn with mix performance messes with my head. Kinda like the TK76vn. Doesn't do anything best or worse ... but not in an attractive way as a LD50vn is ... IMO

Re: TN36vn Triple MK-R

I'd have to see how it handles the heat + what kind of driver / UI it had.
We don't even know what this light can do in stock form yet...6000 lumens from something the size of a Coke can...probably already has heat issues, pushing it harder will probably mean max can be run for something like 1 minute or something, kinda like the turbo mode on the MM15vn. Even in stock form this light must have thermal issues and step downs etc.
Happy to sit back and let others be the guinea pig.

We have similar, but not entirely the same tastes in lights... I'm not really a fan of the LD50... I mean it's a nice light, but for flood mm15vn is my go to.

IMO the tk76 just needed a less space age look in terms of the design. The mm18 will be the opposite... nice unified, normal looking design, but terrible UI.

I wasn't comparing LD50vn to Mm15vn...Have you handled a MM18 in person? Pictures doesn't always tell the story.

Re: TN36vn Triple MK-R

So the TN36 and the MM18 are pretty close to eachother?
Both about the same size and features?
Thank you
Ty

These pictures should help!

This gentlemen from Germany has a nice review with awesome pics/gifs vs. MM15 and several other contenders!
