ipod falls on concrette

yeah it did waaa like from over waiste height i had it inder arm carrying it i was walking home i let it slide down my plan was to catch it lol plan didnt work it fell on concrette it still works .thats why im so picky when i buy stuff i resaecrh it to hect and back.

That's pretty rough treatment for something with a high-cap micro HD in it. Glad it wasn't hurt.

I've dropped my old 10GB ipod a few times and it will continue playing like nothing happened.

My new 40GB took a fall from knee height and that mis-aligned the case, I flicked the case back with my micra.

I've dropped my 2nd generation 10GB once, there is a gap between the metal and the plastic part but it still works fine.

trouble is the damage may not show for a while.
it easy to wound a hd and the bad sectors take a while to appear.worse if it was running when you dropped it.
they can take more shock if parked.

im doing a hardrive scanon it now.boy this thing has a lot of hidden features i found when trying to enable hardrive scan but i didbnt mess with em was kinda afraid
