Also looking for 2D maglite host. Prefer finned & fluted head and grooved body but will look at all custom 2D's.

Happy Birthday! Illumination Supply has 8mm XPG boards in stock that you could mount an XP-L (basically an XM-L2 with an XP-G2 footprint). Actually XP-L's are brighter and more efficient than XM-L2's by something like 15%.
