I have a KL1 SF LED head. Can it's regulator handle three 123 batteries? I have an aftermarket battery holder that can hold either 2 AA's or 3 123's.
Aftermarket 3 X 123 battery holder + SF KL1 head

Yes, the KL1 can be powered with 9-volts (3x123).
