I have a Nitecore MH25 now. I was eying up the Fenix TK32 at my local REI. How would they compare to one another in terms of throw? Should the Fenix throw farther than the Nitecore?

I did buy the Fenix TK32 this afternoon. I just went outside and tried both of them. I am really not all that convinced that the Fenix TK32 throws that much farther than my Nitecore MH25. Must do more testing.

HERE IS THE TK32 NUMBERS

You may NOT notice it unless you have a target at 310m and One at 400m where the MH25 fades and the TK32 continues for 90 more meters! With that said,I would think you may see a little difference in the hot spot if you were ~ 10 or 15' away from a garage[white] or White building and shined them side by side.

40Kcd and 24Kcd "MAY" also be noticeable on wall shots, it will be slight. Try that to see if you can tell the difference in Beam Intensity.

Overall it is NOT that big of a difference,,,,,,,its not like you have a light that is 150Kcd and you are comparing it to a light that is 400Kcd.

TK32 has been independently tested on this forum to be 44,000 candela and actually put 950 lumens out the front, yet another Fenix that exceeds its specs. I love my TK32 the beam out of it is incredible for a light its size...
