I was just bored looking at youtube and checked out going gear's page to see they did a Olight shot show booth review. At 3:16, the new Olight M22 Javelot was shown. According to the video, these are the specs:

1050 lumen for 1hr
250 lumen for 3hr
20 lumen for 30hr

55, 200cd (470m) (gotta love those dedomed lights!) :eek:oo:

Here's the youtube link:

I checked olight's site after and there's still no info on it yet.

Nice, that they made a thrower version, of the M22. Hope they also keep the non-Javelot version so you can choose, depending on your needs.

What other lights have around that intensity? I'm trying to picture in my head how good the throw is from this 1 18650 thrower.

Fenix TK41 (800 lumens version)
Fenix TK60

ArmyTek Predator doesn't reach that intensity, but has a smaller head.

Yeah that seems about right. That dedomed xm-l2 basically makes the reflector "bigger" without actually being bigger :)

I bought a nitecore EA8 when they first came out. On 8AAs in a big body & head, it has 60,000cd. With this M22 Javelot, I get pretty much the same throw, but in a light i can slip ever so easily into the right pocket of my carpenter jeans pocket. Gotta love it!

Yeah... it's nuts. I have been wanting a decent thrower and ultra throwers like the M3XS-UT and M2X-UT look amazing... but honestly I've always been impressed with something like the TK41.

An actually small 1 18650 light would be nice. I can't wait to see a review on the M22 Javelot.

I contacted Olight and they advised that they are hoping to have it available around the end of March.
