hello everyone,..
is there anywhere or on here where i can see beamshots of nailbender's copper mule P60 - in particular, the Nichia 219, and also some feedback on them.
i hope to catch a single LED Nichia mule off him soon.

:candle:

thanks.

I run a triple N219 P60 mule in a Malkoff MD2. It's a wall of light for sure, nice tint but has a severe PWM on low levels.

Thanks,-Should I give it a miss then?.
Lowest lumens would be about 15 if that helps.

Some say there is bad PWM and good PWM.
How severe is it?.
I mean I have a Prometheus beta QR and according to a site its PWM is good PWM highly unlikely to be an issue.
i have no idea on the KHz of that, or if nailbenders drop in is the same or not.
I read somehere that vinh's drop ins are at 35,000khz.
great copper mule though and great guy!.

what to do?.

Thanks

I'm not familiar with Nailbenders drop in. But a 219B will look the same as any other p60 219B given either an OP or SMO reflector, as p60's all use the same size reflector.

A copper p60 should have greater thermal mass. But that's only really an issue for extended runtimes or very high amp setups.

I have a couple of 219B p60's, no PWM and they run at 2.3'ish amps, which is a sweet spot with this LED. Good output, but doesn't heat up too much.

I have a non p60 Nichia219B that runs 3 amp, gets much hotter quicker and is only marginally brighter.

Thanks,...
I'm wondering how severe this PWM is still on lower modes on nailbenders!.
i mean his p60's sell very well.

Yeah it's a true Nailbender. It sure has PWM, see pics below of L2 and H for reference. Not so sure about the khz though. It's very nice apart from the PWM, so if that doesn't bother you you shouldn't stay off. I'll try to make some beamshots later tonight.

Thanks, that's quite a bit PWM spacing!.
anyone have an idea on what kHz this could be at?.
is it safe enough?, a good kHz ?.
some say severe PWM can cause nausea headaches.
a little concerned.

looking forward to the beamshots brother!.

thanks for that!.

I think it depends on the person. I am really sensitive to PWM, but (most) other people seem to be fine with it.
