Well, aluminum is quite far behind copper in terms of thermal conductivity, and steel is way behind aluminum. So I don't see this alloy being any competitor to copper or silver for thermal conductivity.
Also, titanium is heavier than aluminum, and even much worse than steel for thermal conductivity. And it's very expensive. Titanium is just a bad choice in every way for flashlights, except for the "jewelry" factor.

The hot tip is an aluminum alloy known as 7068.

But would it be better then titanium? If they could make it nice and shiny with better thermal conductivity than titanium for 1/10 the cost, I'm in.
