I want to build powerful flashlight

I wont to build some strongest one.

I am going to buy csm-360 led lamp and conect with 4 or 5x 32650 batteryes With direct drive.

As i know csm 360 need 12v and 3.2A. Can 4 or 5 32650 gives me 3.2 A with direct drive? Or it definitely need some driver to boost current?

And if it need driver wich ones helpful for it? :s

If your going for max performance maybe a zener modded fet driver which is basically direct drive on high mode but you will also be able to switch to lower modes. This Led can can take up to 6a but I wouldnt run more than 4 26650s because maximum wattage it will take is 80w. It'll be interesting which host will house this monster because it will definitely produce a lot of heat:devil: honestly you will find that if you use a driver regulated to about 3.5-4 amps it will be plenty. Be sure to use high quality IMR batteries.

It has a lower forward voltage (6V and 12V versions), so it's easier to work with.

I too am curious as to how to house all these components. You'll have to keep us posted to your progress!

Four 32650's can easily way overdrive a CSM360, pushing up to 15V at 10A or more. Using 26650's wouldn't improve the situation much. They would either cut out (if protected), overload, or provide much the same power as the 32650s.

You really should have some way of limiting the current.
