Howdy All,
Last week I had my family up at Yosemite, and on the second day there my LS simply stopped working. Didn't go into "moon mode", just click went off(No sound, just no light). Well being the dedicated user I am, just went and grabbed a spare battery, which had been in my luggage. Well it was pretty cold, suprise the battery did not work. Tried a couple of others, and nothing. Spent the rest of the week carrying my dead LS (just didn't feel right without having it in my pocket) Got home Sat. and thought I'd give it one more try, and lo and behold the battery that would not work in Yosemite, worked just fine back in Whittier,CA.
Any thoughts as to why this would happen?

Thanks, for your input. Thinking about this is making me nuts.

Have you tried it with a power supply or another power pack? It might be the kroll switch. You can remove the switch and spin the body spring (see the DIY thread). Otherwise, I would be happy to look at it for you.
