Differences in Baraccuda v2 specs?

in the Armytek website i see a differecne between the regular and the warm model.
The latter is shown to NOt have Built-in low battery indication

there is also another difference between the new predator's specs. the warm is marked as not to be able to tailstand.
how could this be?

furthermore, the Predator Red is speced NOt to ahve trapezoidal threads and that is unique for the prepdator models?

Why these? Site update glitses?

Yes, you can notice some inaccuracies on our official website. Sometimes it happens because of bugs when an identical characteristic can be applied for all products. If you notice any mistake, we will be grateful if you inform us. Thank you for your attention. We will correct it as soon as possible.

Armytek,

With regard to the Barracuda V1, what is the reasoning for spacing the high mode (~800+ lumens) and the medium mode (~150+ lumens) so far apart?
An additional 400 lumen mode in between would be nice.
Will the Barracuda V2, Dobermann, Viking and Predator V3 have such wide level spacing as well?
Thanks.

Hi!

Max mode in Barracuda has 1380 lumens, others have 820, 170 and 30. So it has 2 high modes and a medium mode (170). We always try to take into account the preferences of customers. :)

Manual for v2 is up.
The jump from 1200 to 440 lumen. Why?
Is this based on field tests showing that there is no utility to having a mode in between?
Maybe it's just me, but it seems like 1200 doesn't run long enough, and 440 might not be bright enough.
At least the older model has a 800 lumen mode, which is not that much dimmer than the max mode, but with appreciably longer runtime.

Exact measurements will be done for the second time again and we will correct it on the website. :)

Failed Armytek Barracuda v2 XP-L?

Hi,

Would have posted this in the service thread but its closed.
Recently bought a Armytek Barracuda v2 XP-L V2 the torch has worked fine for the last week, however this weekend it seems the torch has failed.
Simple will not power on/no light, have tried different sets of know working batts and tried the set that was in the torch in my V1.
Both the head and the tail cap are firmly closed and have tried all combinations of head loose, head opened and closed 3 times etc. but to no avail.
Was wondering if its possible that the mcu has locked up and if there is a method to reset it? I have contacted Armytek and am awaiting a reply.
