Cree Flashlight with Squared Beam?

I have this light like from the below image, but whenever I make the beam tighter it transforms to a square beam instead of the perfectly shaped round beam what I see on my Surefire lights. I can even see inside of the reflective lens that the CREE bulb is a squared shape.

I just stumbled across this light which I had stored for many months....

Actually I like it in a way...EXCEPT for the beam square deformation. At least, the light beam itself has this cool white bright light instead of the more dimmer greenish light which most Surefire lights tend to have....Which I do not still understand why Surefire beams have the green hint to their beams....

Anyways, does anyone own these type of CREE lights?
And if so, does the square looking tight beam bother you????

But does this bother or annoy anyone who owns these type of lights with this LED or CREE shaped bulbs?

The square your seeing isn't deformed, it's a direct projection of the shape of the LED die.

The LED is square on nearly all LEDs.

Lots of the cheaper zoomie lights are set up that way. Not sure about the more expensive Led Lenser zoomie. The older SF, I think its the KL1, had a square shape to the beam. If you put the square beam on a white wall about 3 feet away, you can actually see that it is the shape of the led die. Some even show the lines.

There are many lights which have a square beam. They are all using optic lenses to magnify the LED.

Are there retrofit lenses that can be attached, modded or whatever, to such lights that will reshape the focused beam into something other than the square die?

Using a traditional reflector mitigates this problem.
