Pros & Cons of upgrading to glass AR lens?

Is it worth it to upgrade, stock SF 9P lens, with glass AR coated one? Using Malkoff M31 with AA cells.

I suppose that there are some flashaholics that have done side-by-side tests. To me, it's worth it just for the cool factor. We've upgraded everything else in our favourite lights, why not the glass?

Sometimes the cheap AR found on many lenses causes bad tint (ie green). That said most of my builds have AR coated lenses. One had a greenish tinge but I haven't checked if it's from the lens.
